"Genetics for Midwives": the NE Thames clinical genetics unit will continue to run this course. A reference book on the same topic to aid midwives in their everyday practice was published in 2007. For information about the next course or the reference book contact Sally Taffinder.

Primary care and district general hospital workshops: further workshops/presentations on issues in genetics that are relevant to GPs and secondary care professionals will be provided by arrangement with the NE Thames clinical genetics unit. Contact Sally Taffinder.

Genetic Counsellors' forum: this London-wide forum is now rotating between the four Regional Genetics Centres in London.
